Super Easy Hummus

This hummus is so quick to make and tastes great. You could add any flavour you like, I added some paprika. 

Paprika hummus


  • 400g chickpeas
  • 2 tsp tahini
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika (optional)
  • Parsley (for decoration)


  • Drain the chickpeas, saving the juice, and rinse the chickpeas under cold water
  • Put the chickpeas (save a few for decoration), tahini, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and paprika in a food processor and blend
  • Gradually add in some of the liquid reserved from the chickpeas until you have a smooth consistency
  • Tip the hummus into a serving dish and decorate with olive oil, chickpeas, paprika and parsley
